Hi,

Just a rant. Well, I realized that I actually like men too after T. So I would randomly post to craigslist for casual hook up. And I have one email yesterday:

Why u changed from female to male if you like men !

So I answered:

This is the most stupid question I have ever seen. Female changes to man because he thought he is trapped in a female body. So a correction is needed. But he also thinks he is gay. If your theory works, every gay man should change their gender to female and lesbo should have sex change too. How stupid you are!

so he answered:
Oh your brain works lol


p.s. WAS I WRONG? HOLY Sxxt...

To a person like that, I'll bet "bisexual" is just a temporary phase for some straight women in college who will kiss other women in order to flirt with men. *grumbles*

Yeeeeeah. I've gotten that logic from my partner's mom - "But if he likes men, wouldn't it be easier for him to stay a girl?" Erm. Not the issue here :|a

I've never used Craigslist so I have no idea what it's like there, but you gave a perfectly reasonable answer to his question, and he thinks your brain works, so there doesn't seem anything wrong there.

to be fair, I spent ages pre-transition during puberty trying to figure out how I could still feel like a guy and want to be one if I also liked guys, because I had this idea that being a lesbian was a necessary first step to being trans; to the point where I tried to make myself like girls in hopes that I would eventually become lesbian enough to be a guy. It was only at 14 that I had the revelation that this just meant I was a gay guy, and then I freaked out a little because I'd been told all my life that being gay was wrong and will get you sent to hell et cetera. Which probably said something, given that I hadn't had similar qualms about trying to make myself like girls, because that didn't feel gay.

i'm ftm and i never thought i was a man trapped in a woman's body. i just realized i am much more comfortable with myself presenting masculine, and being recognized as such. there are so many interpretations of gender, that really, to explain it to a closed minded person really isn't even worth it.

i'm queer, married to a cis woman, but i've dated just about everyone under the sun. my body and who i chose to be romantic with isn't anyone else's business. if some asshole responded to an add like that i would just hit delete and not give them the time of day. not to mention you used potentially offensive language with the "lesbo" comment.

LOL TROLL. What a dumbass! While it's awesome of you to explain, I hope you don't worry too much about emailing him anything after that. I think your response was pretty professional compared to his dip shittery. ;) But yeah, loser and not worth your time! Good luck finidng interesting people that aren't total dorks!
