Transgender banner

Hello all!

I was bored, so I figured I'd make a transgender banner to match several other banners I have. The colors are based on the transgender pride flag created by Monica Helms.

Genitals do not determine identity
Anatomy is not destiny

<center><font size="-2"><b>Genitals do not determine identity</b><table width="50%"><tr><td width="20%" bgcolor="#88AAFF">&nbsp;</td><td width="20%" bgcolor="#FFAAAA">&nbsp;</td><td width="20%" bgcolor="#FFFFFF">&nbsp;</td><td width="20%" bgcolor="#FFAAAA">&nbsp;</td><td width="20%" bgcolor="#88AAFF">&nbsp;</td></tr></table><b>Anatomy is not destiny</b></font><center>

Feel free to use on your own site or profile, and suggest other ideas for slogans as well. Enjoy!

Not supposed to be this way

Hey I just found this via ftmicheal, and I'm taking it for my journals.

I just found this! Although, I don't feel as though it is specific to someone being transgender. I think it's true regardless?

running after myself

Feel free to change the text to something you feel may be more fitting. If you do, I'd love to see what you come up with. :)

Oh! No, no, no, no! I didn't mean that! I meant it is open. As in not specific. The text is perfect and beautiful. I'm sorry if it came across differently or if it still isn't coming across the way I meant. :( What I am say, as in what I want to say or what I am thinking (which could be wrong) is that that sentiment is appropriate for anyone, not specific to those who are or who identify as transgender. ?

for every

Oooh, my mistake, hehe.

And, I suppose that depends. I know quite a lot of people who think your genitals determine so many things, including how to behave or what jobs you could possibly get, and so on....

I admire those who do break out of those bonds, transgendered or otherwise.
